I don't know anything so i wrote a poem

The Sky

The sky is neither made of colour nor texture

It is boring plain as the eye can see

A boring everyday feature that we constantly sin

The snow, the rain, the snow and the rain

It is distraction from class

A dream from life

For some exists heaven

For less exists chemicals and gases and fluorescents

We gaze and marvel at statues

Paintings and buildings and other still figures

We stare into the depths of night forgetting that it is in fact

The same scene you were cursing at for its tears

We forget more than just the water we forget the life

The clouds swirling like the curls of a new born’s hair

Have you ever seen a building change on its own?

Rhetorical view, don’t answer.

The sky is passing, never leaving.

The sky is a sunset a million miles away, a warzone a million more.

We go from sky to sky searching for a better sky but it’s the same

Never changing, just re-arranging

The sky is the same as the one you seek somewhere else

It’s the northern lights, the wind the rain the hail,

The sun, the stars and the fireworks

Through the clouds and quirks there’s a sky

So next time you spend an "hour" curling your hair

Open your window and screech,

WHY?

Well... Just think of the sky.

2012 Spring Fashion

Hey everyone it's Lee and I've spent my ENTIRE day watching fashion programs and looking at clothes all day so I thought I'd sum it up with a post! The fashion this Spring is really different from what we've had before, but it's not the clothes that have changed, it's the people wearing them.
The skinny jeans are going out slightly, being replaced by skirts and "girlier" clothing, especially
really cute pastel colours and I'm so glad about that because they really suit my skin colour!
You'll notice, especially shopping online, that most shops are calling it "candy", (new look, boohoo
.com etc).

1.  The Flippy Dress

www.boohoo.com

This dress is sweet and plain, which makes it easy to accesorise with
belts and jewelery. because it's black, it's also a
good dress for school wear as it follows the unifrom code.
It's also currently on sale fr £15

Reviews: "It looks really good on, i got many complements wearing it! always a winner! i thought it might be a little tight on my chest but the size 10 fitted fine, i usually have to go for a 12. Its really comfy and flattering. for those who don't like their tummy, like me, this is fab"

"So glad I ordered it in different colours, will definitely be a wardrobe staple, great value for money."

"I was skeptical on wether to buy this or not. I just got it and I didn't expect it to be this nice. My greatest surprise was the fit, its so comfortable and flattering ... I have an hour glass shape and Im a 36C (I thought it would be to tight around the chest area but its not) Don't think about it just get it!"

 2. The Bold Dress

www.newlook.com

This dress is bold, as well as sticking with the colour scheme of this
season. I saw another dress from new look similar to this one, but
I couldn't see it online so this is the next best thing!
Above the design, the shape is the classic skater dress which has to be
one of the BIGGEST come backs in fashion for years!

3. The Coat
www.next.co.uk

This coat is great because it's not too much but it's not the same as the usual
style this is going for. The colours will match almost anything, it has a
belt which gives it a great figure hugging shape, despite the fact that it is
a coat.

£55

Reviews

"This coat is amazing and looks just as good as it does in the picture! It fits beautifully and I get complimented everytime I wear it! Nice and light, not too heavy and goes with everything!"

"I love this Mac, very flattering to the waistline.
Very good value for money, love all the detail to it.

I have had many comments on how good it looks, as well as glances from people passing me by.
Although i am 57 i am normally thought to look younger and wearing Next clothes always makes me feel good"

 4. The Shorts

www.riverisland.com

These shorts are usually seen as a bit mainstream, but these are slightly
different. Instead of using buttons, it uses a slimming inner clip, be
wary you get the right size though because one bit too small and it looks
terrible! The colour is also slightly different from the normal, even nicer
in my opinion, so if you want to be comfortable in what you're wearing then these shorts are a must!

5. The top

www.forever21.com

This top is the kind of top you will wear really often and not even realise
how much you wear it. It's plain, so it's perfect for jewelery and the colour
suits almost every skin tone. You can't see it in this picture, but the back
has an interesting opening, so if you are interested in it, look out for that.
It is definitely instyle with this spring, especially the hippie style and
pastel-y colour.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I will see you all on Sunday for my next video!

Being a youtuber

Today I had my first ever negative remark (well that I know of) about my videos. One of my friends turned to me at lunch today and said "I watched your videos... they're gay." And I didn't react at all, I just went "Aw thanks" and laughed it off. I went through the rest of the day fighting back tears, I didn't want to make my mum and dad unhappy seeing me so sad about something so tiny and insignificant. I always felt as if I need to be that person that doesn't feel upset about much ever and be the sort of bright glow you can rely on to be happy or whatever in my family and friendship group, but that's really hard when you are a youtuber. I don't hate this girl for saying that my videos were gay, I always thought that being kind and generous and not reacting was so much good already, but actually forgiving these people and not hating them for their opinions is a MILLION times more amazing than anything in the world.
Martin Luther King always said, do not hate these people, these people may have a purpose to hurt you, but fighting back will only make you worse.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." - Martin Luther King jr.

This is such an important thing to know as, this person this mean, cruel person wasn't born bad. Every child is born with a clean, pure heart and their own thoughts and feelings. This person was probably moulded into this mean being out to hurt you by other people. But don't blame those either as they were probably moulded by others, and this goes on and on and it will now be impossible to actually find a person who could start it all. But it's not impossible to end it all, maybe all they need is someone to love them for who they are rather than trying to change them and mould them into this ugly being. That's why we need good people who are willing to accept others they way they are, mean or not mean.

I am incredibly happy on youtube, it just keeps giving me more and more knowledge and opportunities. I meet so many wonderful people who continue to inspire me every day and I'm only on 50 subscribers (That is official now as I have permenently deleted my old channel so I am totally reliant on missleemakeup). We are such a family, youtube really is the perfect community because there are like 90% good people all out to do the same thing and that's make videos and have fun and inspire people (there are occasionally a few people who aren't so nice but remember what I said before) I cannot imagine leaving this place now, it is really my second home it means so much!

Who is that girl on the front cover of your magazine? Do you know her? Do you know this girl? Do you think you have anything in common with her? Is she really like she says? Probably not. The truth is, we compare ourselves to these unreal, fake, not to mention stunningly beautiful (and airbrushed) girls all the time. We might not even realise it, I know I do it I always look at their waists. I always think, why is it no matter how little I eat and how much exercise I do, I don't look like these amazing girls? Who is bubzbeauty. She is a down to Earth girl who is knowledgable, kind and inspirational. Do I know her? I could go to her for anything, any advice and help and if she doesn't help, someone like her will. Do I have anything in common with her? We both love youtube, deathnote, makeup, urban decay makeup, shopping, inspirational videos, having fun, Japan, designing clothes and the list goes on and on. Is she self-concious? Hell yes. Am I? Of course! Do I compare myself to her? No. She is her own person, she taught me that. Instead of being jealous of her and wishing to be like her, like the girls in the magazines, I love and learn from her every day. She taught me how to be me. I could answer the same questions about so many people on youtube, could I answer any for Cat Deely? No.

A few years ago when I first started watching youtube videos and becoming interested in them, I used to wonder if I'd ever be good enough to inspire someone. And I have hardly any subscribers, hardly any videos, hardly any views and I've inspired four people. FOUR. Four people with lives and family and history and everything, all there and i've influenced them to an extent of which 2 started their own videos and both succeeded amazingly well so far in them. I never EVER want to stop getting that feeling, I actually did that I actually became good enough to be inspirational to people, and I haven't even started yet.

Youtube means a lot to me now, it's my confidence, my inspiration and my land of opportunities. Youtube is what you make it, as is everything else in life.
Never forget that people will hear to you if you speak loud enough, but listen to you if you speak well enough.

Design and print your own t-shirt!

Hey everyone!^-^

Last Saturday, me and Kay decided we'd make a tutorial on how to design and print your very own t-shirt design. I have the video here, but if you want a full detailed description of the tutorial then carry on reading!

First you are going to need:

- Plain cheap t-shirt (We got long sleeved ones from primark for £3.50, but theres probably cheaper!)
-Fabric Ink (I used Dylon Fabric Paint in 7, 23 and 11 and they were about £2.58 each!)
-Permeable Fabric* (organza fabric is good and it's about £3.50 or less per metre)
- Fabric Scissors*
- Embroidery hoop* (I'm using a 10", you can get them from most fabric stores and I think mine was £2.80)
- PVA or Modpodge glue, either will work*
- Pencil*
- Paper
- Paint Brush
- Sponges*

*If you are directly painting on your design then you won't need these, but then this tutorial is pretty pointless so it's best to use one!

Step Un: First of all you need to pick and draw your design onto a piece of paper. Then, cut a square of fabric that is bigger than the embroidery hoop and fix it in. The best way to do this, is to place the bigger hoop on the bottom, place the fabric on top and then slide on the smaller hoop. Then tighten the screw and pull the edges for a flat surface.

Step Deux: Next, place the hoop with the fabric on top of your design and use a pencil to go around it on the fabric.

Step Trois: This part was quite tricky, use the PVA or Mod-Podge glue on the places on the fabric that you do not want the paint to go through, thus leaving the t-shirt white or whatever it's original colour was underneath them. You may want to do this around the edges, in the whites of the eyes or where you want to hand paint anything afterwards.

Step Quatre: To dry the glue, we found waving it about like crazy was the quickest way! Once the glue is dry, place your hoop with the fabric on top of the teacher, make sure there is a piece of paper inside the t-shirt so that the ink/paint doesn't seep through to the other side. After that, you can use a sponge to dab the ink onto your design.

Step Cinq: Once you are finished that, lift the hoop off and voila! Your design is complete! You may need to add on some finishing touches with a paint brush as well of course:)

Note: Check your fabric paint/ink before you use it incase you have to wash the t-shirt first or iron on the paint/ink before washing it.

Please watch our video and if you have a youtube, like, comment and subscribe please please please please please please please! Kay's channel is www.youtube.com/mizz98kay so check her out! Have fun t-shirt making! - Lee xx
